Mark Fernandes

My work deals with memory through a conceptual photographic process. Drawn from my interest in non-linear perception, my artistic approach is based on the deconstruction/reconstruction of space. Composed of different moments in time, I compress my archived photographic information into a single image.

Each of these portraits is a constructed image consisting of numerous photographic fragments shot somewhere between 30 to 180 minutes.
